From May 1st through the 31st, Primavera Gallery is mounting an exciting exhibition entitled Minerology 101, which will explore the earthly delights that have been incorporated into various types of decorative arts, such as lamps, furniture, and jewelry. “These pieces combine the unexpected, spontaneous and almost magical aspects of minerals – structured yet random, lyrical and poetic in their accidental beauty, with architectural mountings that can be dramatic counterpoints to the irregularities of nature,” explains Audrey Friedman, co-owner.
